We are attempting to purify poly rC in the 70-mer range (from poly rC).
If we do this by gel we would like to check what we have. Is it possible
to do MALDI of 70mers? (We now have a Voyager DE!) Does poly rC behave
well in MALDI?
We also have traditional HPLC--and could buy a column for the
purification--but am leaning towards gel purification for this long-mer.
For QC we could also use the capillary electrophoresis that is down the
hall--we have never looked at oligoribonucleotides (or
deoxyribonucleotides) via CE--What sort of resolution do you get with 70
mers?
