Pierce sells the reagent (N-[iodoethyl]trifluoroacetamide) which they call
Aminoethyl-8 Reagent. I've used it before to aminoethylate cysteines which
are then readily cleaved by Lys-C. As far as reaction conditions go, it's
just a simple alkyation, so after reducing your disulfides, use any type of
reaction conditions that work for iodoacetic acid or iodoacetamide.
