There have been some complaints about your two messages that were perceived
as advertising. One of the complaints came from a reseller of scientific
equipment who has been severely taken to task in the past by posting ads on
our discussion group. If you work at a biotech company, why don't you just
donate your equipment (tax deductible) to a local non-profit institution.
No one would complain then.
The message sent out when people join our group clearly states that there
should be no ads.
