Hello all,

Thank you so much to those who responded to my question about peptide
cyclization methods. Your suggestions were wonderful;I now have a much better
idea of what is involved in cyclization.

However, I have run into a new dilemma. I am trying to cyclize pentaGly. I have
synthesized and cleaved the peptide. Unfortunately, PentaGly is not at all
soluble in DMF or any other organic solvent that I have tried (I've tried DCM,
NMP, DMF with TFE or DIEA). In fact, the only sovent that I have found that
will dissolve the peptide is rather concentrated aqueous acetic acid.

Does anyone have any suggestions for cyclizing such an uncooperative peptide?

Thank you so much.
