PE training courses

Fellow ABRFer's,
There are some people in my facility who are considering taking
some of the PE/ABI training courses on DNA Synthesis. We find PE to be
ambiguous with the information they give out about the courses. We would
appreciate any feedback from others who have taken the courses. We can not
tell if it will be worth the money in terms of plane trip, hotel stay, etc.
and don't want to invest the money if it is all information we already
know.
Has anyone else taken these courses? What have your experiences
been? Was it worth it?
