Bob,

There are two possibilities:
1) Your protein sequence was deduced from a nucleotide sequence. In this
case you should submit both sequences to GenBank, go to
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/
press the button "BankIt" and follow the instructions.
2) Your protein sequence was obtained by direct protein sequencing methods.
In this case you cannot submit it to GenBank, but you can submit to
PIR-International, go to
http://www-nbrf.georgetown.edu/pirwww/otherinfo/submseq.html
