We are seeking a PhD-level Scientist experienced in the development,
optimization and validation of methods to elucidate the structure of
recombinant proteins to support our biopharmaceutical client company's
recombinant vaccines and therapeutics. Our successful candidate
responsibilities will include the characterization of primary, secondary,
and tertiary structure as well as carbohydrate and lipid components.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
… Successful candidate MUST have a strong Mass Spectrometry experience.
A competitive candidate will have a combination of some or all of the
following:
N-terminal sequencing, peptide mapping, amino acid analysis, MALDI-TOF mass
spectrometry, LC-electrospray mass spectrometry, monosaccharide
composition, and oligosaccharide profiles.
… Data must be compiled into reports to support commercial lot release and
regulatory filings.
… Some familiarity with cGMP compliance would be beneficial.
… Candidate must have a Ph.D. in Biochemistry or Chemistry with at least
2-5 years experience with the above mentioned techniques.
… Ideal candidate should also have some supervisory experience.
