Dear Chris,

You may want to contact Lancer USA Inc. at 407-332-1855 or see their web-page at http://lab-depot.com. The Lancer 1400 UP is a robust system with many features, which includes baskets for glass plates.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Best regards,

Rich

Ps. I am not associated with, nor do I represent Lancer USA Inc.

Hi Everyone,

As every DNA sequencer feels...

I'm tired of washing plates!

Does anyone have any thoughts, experience with using a dishwasher to clean
the 36cm quartz plates used with the ABI 377? In addition to taking manpower
away from manually washing them, I'm aiming to reduce build up on the
plates.

We occasionally will get a build up that's quite difficult to remove. I've
been told that washing them in extremely hot water will reduce the build up.
I'm hoping the dishwasher could solve this problem as well.

Thanks!
Chris Jacobs
