MS/BS Proteomics Associate
As a member of a core mass spectrometry resource, you will conduct
research aimed at facilitating the discovery and development of
medicinal agents. Responsibilities include assisting in research
projects involving proteomics techniques. Projects will involve
performing 2D gel electrophoresis, gel image analysis, sample
preparation, and MALDI-tof and ESI HPLC-tandem mass spectrometry. The
successful candidate will demonstrate good communication and teamwork
skills. The position requires a MS/BS degree in chemistry, analytical
chemistry, biochemistry or a related field with good technical ability
and a strong background strong interest in biochemical laboratory
experiments. Experience in electrophoresis, especially 2D
electrophoresis and MALDI-tof mass spectrometry is highly desirable.
