ProtSeq:silver stained proteins

Hi everyone,

I have received a silver stained gel piece to carry out internal sequencing
on. How does this differ to Coomassie stained gel pieces. Is it just a
matter of staining some other way (I'm not sure how) and then proceeding as
per normal or is there a special protocol.

Any help and advice is gratefully received
