We're getting a blue streak across the bottom of our gel when we use the
cellulose combs from PE. We're using the water load method and leave the
comb in for approx 4.5 minutes of electrophoresis.

This blue streak obscures about 20 bases of data. We need to get rid of it.

Is anyone having this problem??
