Ken,
Griffin and George were at the bottom of a cascade of mergers which
started (we think) in the seventies. Historically, it goes like this:-
Griffin and George became Gallenkamp; Gallenkamp became Fisons; Fisons
became Fisher Scientific. For what it's worth, here are the Fisher contact
details, but I would think the chances of them coming up with something are
slim.
