Thank you for the reply. The problem does appear to be a valve problem (#3)
which controls R2 delivery. This would not show up as a sensor error
because it
is a gas-phase delivery. The valve does not click when it is opened
manually.
Opening valves 1,3,11, 15 does not deliver R2 to Waste.

Dear Charles,
check for the "genie in the bottle" --most of the time when I have such a
problem it is with R2 delivery. I think a problem with R1 delivery will
also lower the amounts of the artifact peaks. You might also check
transfer from cartridge to flask. The sensors should be showing problems
with deliveries if they are occuring, but maybe they are messing up.

Weather Inconsequential: Beautiful day. Walked to work, will walk home
soon. Kids are in school, all's right with the world (except of course for
your procise and the mountain of work I am trying to slog through!)
