Sandra- BD= Big Dye (as in ABI Prism BigDye Terminator Cycle Sequencing Ready
Reaction Kit, Applied Biosystems Catalog # 4303151 for 5000 rxns). Sorry if
the protocol was unclear.
I am finding the BigDye chemistry to be very robust. I am using it almost

Sheryl- My protocol for GC-rich templates is attached as an enclosure. This
method succeeded in sequencing Lunatic out to about 650 bases. It uses BD
chemistry- I didn't have much luck using the dGTP kit with Lunatic. Good luck.
