DNASeq: 80 and 96 lane combs

We are about to embark on using 80 and 96 lane combs. There has been lots
of good info
posted this site, but I have a few more questions.

When running the 80 lane comb, do you use the notched front plate like you would for 96
lanes? Also for the 80 lane comb, do you use the 96 lane scan run mode?

For the 96 lane comb run, we were planning on using the single use combs, but I
remember that Chris Jacobs had suspected he was getting a blue artifact from it. Any
follow up on that problem?

Any additional advice on the larger format combs, single use or mylar, and loading
strategies would be appreciated.
