Many people are now using "precursor/product" instead of "parent/daughter,"
and "parent/product" is also used. The term "neutral loss" is apparently
non-offensive. I don't think there's a consensus for a term to replace
"granddaughter" for MS^3 scans, but I'm sure some people have ideas.
