Dear ABRFer

As many of you know, Ken Mitchelhill put together the ABRF web site and has
been responsible for its administration. I am sure you will all agree that
he has done a fantastic job and we are indebted to him. Ken is now making a
sideways career move out of the biochemical field and into the IT field
where he can use his computer talents to the full. This means that, sadly,
he will no longer be involved with the ABRF.

We therefore need an able and willing volunteer to take on the
responsibility of managing the web site. The new webmaster must a
smattering of Unix experience, a good understanding of HTML and web site
administration and the appropriate management skills. The main ongoing work
will be to coordinate the uploading of new information and documents to the
web site at abrf.org and perhaps assist in the production of online forms
for various committees. Ken will be happy to guide the new person through
the transition process, so there will be plenty of help available.

Any ABRF member who is interested in becoming webmaster should forward
details of their experience to me at l.c.packman@bioc.cam.ac.uk, giving
also URLs of sites that they have put together. I look forward to lots of
enthusiastic replies!

Len
