I'd go with the PE/ABI brand, followed by Sigma. If you
are really in a pinch, try using the driest ETOAc you can
find and pass it through neutral Alumina. This has worked
for me in the past. (I got the last hint from a guy in
Pittsburgh, eh, John?). Just my opinion. Regards, Tom

Does anyone know if another brand of ethyl acetate (ie ABI) could be used
for protein sequencing? Or does anyone know of a source of ethyl acetate
that would be suitable for an HP G1005A protein sequencer? Help!
Thanks
