Hi-

We use ABI S2B on our HP. This improves the Lys recovery. HP is aware
of this problem, I'm told.

We have just been told that ethyl acetate reagent from Hewlett Packard will
remain on back order for up to 8 more weeks. We have already been waiting 4
weeks for a backordered shipment.

Does anyone know if another brand of ethyl acetate (ie ABI) could be used
for protein sequencing? Or does anyone know of a source of ethyl acetate
that would be suitable for an HP G1005A protein sequencer? Help!

Thanks
