We have tested Sigma Chemical Co. Protein Sequencing reagents ethyl
acetate, TFA, n-heptane, and as I recall PITC. We found them no different
from the ABI reagents.
(I have no stock in either ABI A.K.A. Perseptive Biosystems or
Sigma/Aldrich or any other chemical co.).
