I have been using B&J acetonitrile to make my own B2 solvent for both my
476A and 494 PE ABI sequencers and 173A microblotter with very good
results for over 2 years. I also use the Aldrich 2-propanol to complete
the B2 formulation. With all machines running almost 7-24 they have been
consistent and economical in the 4L packaging. I still use the PE-ABI DMPTU
in the B2.
