Over the past 4 years, I have met so many helpful and knowledgeable
people through the ABRF. One of these people is Ken Mitchelhill. I
want to thank him for all the work that he has done for the ABRF and all
the help that he has given me. He has always been prompt, efficient and
very personable.
Another person who has made a tireless contribution to the
electronic health of the ABRF is Dirk Krapf. Dirk was there at the
beginning of the webpage era and helped many of us learn about this new
form of communication. Dirk instituted the archiving of the "roundtable"
correspondence, a significant contribution. Most of you probably don't
realize that Dirk continued to maintain the archives long after he was no
longer associated with a core laboratory. In fact - it is only in recent
months that Dirk has turned this chore over.
So - to both Ken and Dirk - my electronic mentors - thank you. It
was a pleasure working with you. My very best wishes in your future
endeavors.
