DIRECTED TO THOSE WITH A PERSEPTIVE BIOSYSTEMS VOYAGER DE -- NOTHING
FANCIER

Good morning all,

I would like to invite all of you to run some comparative samples--a whole
protein and a tryptic digest. My goal is to determine what I am doing
right and what I am doing wrong when looking for masses. And I want to
know, even when I do what the next guy does, how our MALDI is
performing--same settings, same sample (simple tryptic digest out of one
pot, no cysteines in the "mother" protein, but, yes, those ugly salts),
same matrix preparation method, same calibration standards, etc. I was
wondering if anyone else would like to join in?

Probably not a quick time-line, but before Christmas would be great.

And, of course, I welcome help organizing this . . .
