TRAVEL AWARD SPONSORED BY PE BIOSYSTEMS AND ABRF

WE HAVE RECEIVED SOME APPLICATIONS WITHOUT SUPPORT LETTERS AND
SOME SUPPORT LETTERS WITHOUT APPLICATIONS. To be considered for a ABRF
Travel Award, both must be submitted by Nov. 1st! APPLICANTS PLEASE CHECK
WITH YOUR SUPPORTERS AND SUPPORTERS PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR APPLICANTS!

As stated in the award "A program is available to help ABRF members--"
thus only ABRF members will receive the award. I should add that it does
not cost very much to become an ABRF member, $75 or $35 for a student..

Only one person from a laboratory will be awarded. "No more
than one award will be made to any particular laboratory and 1999 travel
award winners will not be eligible for a 2000 award." You can submit more
than one application, but the travel award committee will award no more
than one travel award per laboratory..

You must move quickly with both application and support letter/s
because the email site will be closed Nov. 1st and under no circumstance
will an applicantion be considered after that date.

"Letters of support must be emailed to:
travelaward@abrf.org
