Dear Lisa,
In the Barany research group we used 0.45 M HOBt/HBTU solutions in DMF. We
prepared the solutions ourselves, and as long as you allow for about 30 min
of stirring, the dissolution is no problem. Note that even if your solvent
of choice is NMP, you need to dissolve the HBTU/HOBt in DMF. We used the
solutions successfully for up to three weeks, but they might be stable for
longer than that. The ABI 433A manual has more detail on this. Good luck,
