Protein Chemistry Staff Scientists (2 Positions)
Texas A&M University
The Protein Chemistry Laboratory, a Core Facility of Texas A&M University,
seeks to hire up to two protein scientists. The successful candidates with
protein analysis and/or mass spectroscopy experience will assist in the
service, research and education programs of the laboratory. The applicants
are expected to have either a Ph.D. or M.S. with 3+ years of relevant
background with hands-on experience in protein sequencing, 2D gel
electrophoresis and/or protein separation science. Familiarity with peptide
synthesis and purification is also desirable for at least one of the
candidates. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to become
fully integrated into the dynamic and interactive facility and collaborate
with a diverse users group in the Texas A&M University System. A generous
