New York University School of Medicine has an immediate opening for an
experienced technical manager to operate and manage its core DNA sequencing
and synthesis facility. This facility serves a variety of scientists who
currently require approximately 20,000 sequence determinations and 2000
deoxyoligonucleotide syntheses annually. Expertise in the use of ABI
automated DNA sequencing equipment is essential, as are technical
trouble-shooting skills, computer skills, and the ability to organize a
highly efficient sequencing service. A competitive salary and fringe
