I'm mentioned this here before, but I try not to post too often.
There is a newsgroup for mass spectrometry, sci.techniques.mass-spec. I
try to forward appropriate articles from here, but I don't always see them,
or don't have the time to do it. Mass spec people, or at least the ones I
know, tend not to worry about saying things publicly. We've not had any
real battles in the newsgroup, but people speak their minds about
instruments, service, etc.
I invite you to participate in the newsgroup. Our Web page is at
