Hi Deb,

Our original 494 Mac died also. Don't remember what it was...maybe a
Centris 650? We now have a PM 7200/90 which functions OK-same as on
our PE/Sciex API 100. I would imagine that almost any Mac past 68030
vintage would work.

Good luck!

Hi, all,
Our New "used" 492 has blown its computer (a Power PC 6100--well,
actually, the 6100 toasted the video monitor--and then it toasted our
second "tester" video monitor).
What computer systems do you use on your 492/494's? We need to go to our
friendly rebuilt Mac store (thank goodness there is one in town) and get
back up and running!

Thanks,
