A position is immediately available within the Searle Discovery Protein
Analytics group for a candidate to provide analytical protein
characterization information for a wide range of projects.
We require a candidate with a BS/MS and training and/or experience in the
area of protein biochemistry. Specific experience with analytical protein
characterization, such as amino acids and N-terminal analysis, is desirable.
Experience in mass spectroscopy, enzymatic or chemical fragmentation of
proteins, HPLC separation of peptides would be beneficial. Strong

Research Associate Biologist
A second position is open for a candidate to provide quantitative and
quality assessment data to support protein expression and purification for a
wide range of projects.
BS/MS with training and/or experience in protein biochemistry is required.
You will work towards developing novel high throughput, rugged quantitative
assays to support a wide variety of projects. Specific experience in gel
electrophoresis and Western blot analysis is desirable. Additional
experience in mass spectroscopy, capillary electrophoresis and high
throughput assay design would be beneficial. Strong communication,
