**Project Manager - Life Science Research Products**
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Manage development of the product line or research antibodies, probes,
and
detection systems.
-Assess potential markets and manage new product development.
-Coordinate with other departments to achieve global marketing
objectives and
product launch schedule.
-Develop market plans, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
-Monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs.
-Develop budgets and monitor expenditures.
Education/Training:
Life Science MS or Ph.D. an MBA is a plus.
Experience and Skills:
-Strong marketing professional with 2-5 years sales and marketing
experience a plus.
-Life Science research market.
-Also interested in training recent Ph.D. graduates and postdoc with the
appropriate
technical background.
-Experience with laboratory techniques including immunocytochemistry,
immunohistochemistry, non-radioactive northern blotting, southern
blotting,
western blotting, and in situ hybridization
-Transgenic mice and/or knock-out mice
-Experience with PC-based software.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Suggest, research, and develop new products
-Resolve technical issues with customers as needed
-Supervision of laboratory technicians; hands-on work required initially

-Some travel required
Education/Training:
-Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field
Experience and Skills:
At least two years experience in an industrial environment preferred,
