You can check this article: Huang & Huang (1994) Cleavage of both
tryptophanyl and methionyl peptide bonds in proteins. J.Protein Chem.
13:450-451. This methods worked great for me. It is a combination of CNBr
and Iodide. You also can see: Rosa et al, Protein Science 8(1):13-24 (1999)
as one application of the Huang method.
