Large Scale Proteomics Corporation is dedicated to the discovery and
understanding of
proteins and their central role in the cause and treatment of disease in
humans, plants
and animals. Our work involves finding new protein targets, markers and
therapeutics
using a highly developed proteomics technology platform including
high-throughput
protein characterization systems and large-scale analytical databases.
LSB conducts a
broad range of basic and commercial research through established and
rapidly
expanding relationships with pharmaceutical companies, medical and
research centers,
and government collaborators. We seek motivated, team-oriented
individuals who
perform well in an informal but challenging environment. We have an
immediate
opening for the following position: Research Associate - Mass
Spectrometry:
Developing and conducting automated high-throughput LC-MS/MS
characterization of
proteins separated via proprietary 2-D gel and other methods,
maintaining automated
and analytical instrumentation (HPLC, autosampler, LC detectors, mass
spectrometers), and keeping good laboratory records. Successful
candidate has a BS
in chemistry, biology or related field, 2-5 years experience in LC-MS/MS
and working
knowledge of Windows NT and MS Office. Job code TG9991. LSP is a
