Bioanalytical Scientist
Sigma Chemical is looking to fill a bioanalytical scientist position in
the R&D core facility.
In this role, you will provide bioanalytical support for all Research
and Development efforts. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors or
Masters degree in biochemistry or chemistry with a minimum of one year
of experience in electrospray or MALDI mass spectrometry. Ideal
candidates will be highly self motivated individuals with excellent
analytical, problem solving skills, have the ability to work in a team
environment and possess strong computer and communication skills.
Expertise in the various protein characterization methods such as
ESI-mass spec, MALDI mass spec, HPLC, amino acid analysis, protein
sequencing, electrophoresis and utilization of modern methods of
instrumental analysis is highly desirable.
