RE: DNA SEQ: 3700 costs

Donna,

We have calculated the cost/reaction to be $4.17 (this is without standing
orders to reduce costs, 1/2 reactions, and 96-well cleanup plates $85/plate)
AND running a full 96 samples per run. This does not include overhead or
labor.
We have brought down the price with a few changes (standing orders) to
$3.62/reaction and are now working on the most expensive components, which
are the BigDye Premix and the 96-well cleanup plates.

I'd be interested in hearing any other information you get...
