Lisa,

AnaSpec provides resins for synthesizing pNA peptides depending on the kind
of amino acid attached to the pNA. Resins for Asp, Asn, Cys, Glu, Gln, Lys,
Tyr-para-nitroanilide are available from AnaSpec.
Another method is to synthesize the fully protected N-terminal region of the
peptide using 2-chlorotrityl resin and then couple this to the C-terminus of
the peptide which is the amino acid-pNA(side chain protected if necessary).
This coupling entails solution phase synthesis.
