Andrew,

It is my understanding that the 3700 uses the same detection software
as the ABI377. With that in mind, a typical sequence file is about
1k in size and a trace file can range from 150k to 200k in size.
Within the Run Folder are three other files: Gel, Run and Log.
The GEL file is by far the largest, it can easily range in size
from 40 to above 100Mb.
