Happy Holidays everyone,
Our newest faculty member is looking to buy an FPLC-like system. She
really likes the older Pharmacia units and is now looking at the AKTA.
We'd appreciate any comments on this system--or other systems. She is
looking at the Biocad next week. Many of the columns that she uses
require very precise and low flow rates--operating against low back
pressure--which is why she likes the pump system on the older Pharmacia
FPLCs.
