The following position is available in the Protein Chemistry Department at
Immunex in Seattle, Washington.
We are seeking a Research Associate whose primary responsibility will be to
synthesize peptide reagents for multiple projects within our discovery
research group. The ideal candidate will have several years experience
with automated peptide synthesis, analytical and preparative HPLC, and
MALDI and electrospray mass spectrometry. Additional experience in protein
characterization or organic chemistry would be desirable. Requirements
include BA/BS in chemistry or biochemistry with excellent computing,
organizational, and communication skills.
