NIH E-Mentoring Program
The ABRF Executive Board would like to make the ABRF membership, and other interested parties, aware of the National Institutes of Health (NIH/DHHS) Lifeworks E-mentoring Program ( http://science.education.nih.gov/LifeWorks/Ementoring ). The program is a Web-based e-mail service that links students with the Lifeworks E-mentoring database of research scientists, physicians, nurses, and other life science and health professionals from across the nation. Students follow a simple online registration and approval process and then select one or more professionals from our growing database of e-mentors, according to specific career interests and goals. Students are then connected by Web-mail to their chosen e-mentor(s) to begin the mentoring relationship. If you are a student who is interested in receiving this service or a professional in one of the above fields who would be interested in becoming an e-mentor, please consider joining this program today! Please note, the program is open to US students and professionals only.
